Physics usually brings groans and sounds of people hitting their heads against the table in equal measure. But, it needn’t be that bad! Most of the physics you need to know as an anaesthetist is pretty simple and doesn’t stray outside of a well-defined area.
Physics4FRCA is a free, not for profit site aimed at bringing a valuable resource to anaesthetists sitting the FRCA examinations. It is based around the RCOA curriculum for physics and measurement and provides targeted articles linked the required outcomes of the curriculum. My aim is to cover the whole curriculum eventually, but this may take some time!
All Diagrams are hand drawn and simplified, both for ease of understanding and easy reproduction in a VIVA situation.
